An Outpatient Medication Assisted Recovery Facility for individuals with Dependence to Opioids (Heroin, Narcotic Pain Relievers, or Other Opiates)

Our goal is to help you “take back your life.”

Addiction to opiates is a brain disruption characterized by intense, and at times, uncontrollable drug cravings, compulsive drug seeking and use.

Despite devastating consequences, addiction disrupts many aspects of an individual’s life.  On the other hand, New Horizons treats opiate dependent patients in an individualized manner, enabling each patient to achieve productive functioning in the family, at work, and in society.

Recovery from addiction CAN and DOES happen!
Drug dependency, like any other addiction, (smoking, overeating, overspending, etc.) is a struggle.  Patients at Harbor Springs have an advantage.  Medication-Assisted Recovery for Opioid Use Disorder provides the opioid craver with individualized health care and medically prescribed methadone or suboxone to reduce opiate cravings, relieve withdrawal symptoms, and bring about a biochemical balance in the body.

“The greatest accomplishment is not in never falling, but in rising again after you fall”
